*Credentialing status is acquired
for all clients
upon the receipt of a master list of insurance companies with which the provider is
in-network. Additional charges apply for initial credentialing and
re-credentialing.
Verification of Benefits
All patients' insurance benefits
are verified for
future appointments as well as current patients. This is done so that
all benefits are up to date and reliable which enables the billing to be
done appropriately and in a timely manner. Also, co-pays and
authorizations are correct and in place for all patients' appointments.
Charge Entry & Electronic Billing
All patient charges
are entered daily and billed
out electronically through McKesson. Electronic remittance is received
for Medicare and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Weekly reports are provided
that include all charges billed for office appointments and surgeries
within that time frame.
Authorizations
Authorizations are obtained
and set in place for
patients that have insurance coverage that requires us to do so.
Patients are contacted when it is their responsibility to bring a
referral from their primary care physician. The office staff is alerted
to any patient who is not authorized to see a provider so that
rescheduling or any other action that needs to be taken will be done so
prior to the appointment. This assures the provider that they will not
be seeing patients without proper coverage.

Insurance & Patient Payments
Insurance and patient payments
are posted to the
appropriate accounts on a weekly basis. This provides the provider and
their office accurate patient records and detailed bookkeeping.
Meetings with Staff
We meet with your office staff
on a weekly basis.
Much of the success of our company is a result of us working with office
staff as a team. Each week, at a scheduled time, we drop off the reports
from the previous week and retrieve payments, insurance explanations of
benefits, and any other information that is pertinent to the ongoing
success of your practice. This is also a time to discuss any issues and
to make changes, if needed.
Monthly Meetings with Providers
Each month a meeting is scheduled
with our client.
This time is utilized to explain monthly reports, answer any questions
and discuss new ideas, future plans and to make any changes, if needed.
Credentialing
We offer credentialing
to all of our clients.
Once a client has signed with us for the duration of one year we require
a master list of insurances that the office is contracted with. Upon
receipt of that list, we will provide you with the status of that
credentialing. For an additional fee, we also do initial credentialing
for any provider that may join the practice as well as existing
providers wanting to join an additional network, and we also handle the
re-credentialing when needed. Fees for credentialing are provided in the
costs and fees section.

Denials
Denials that may be received
are immediately
appealed. We will make every effort to retrieve payment from the
insurance company. Patients are also contacted if they play a role in
getting the claim paid. Any changes that are to be made on claims will
be done and claims resubmitted electronically.
Patient Statements
Statements are sent
to patients on a monthly basis.
Patient payments are tracked so that the status of your outstanding
accounts can always be recognized.
Soft Collections
We provide soft collections
for our clients. This
includes 30, 60 and 90 days past-due tracking. Our office will contact
the patient via letter for 30 and 60 days past-due and will call the
patient if there is no response. A final warning letter will be sent to
all patients who are 90 days delinquent. If no response is received
after the final warning, patient accounts will be sent to the
collection agency of our clients' choice.
Weekly & Monthly Reports
Each week a report
will be dropped off at your
office which will show the charges and collections made the previous
week. Monthly reports will include a total of the month's charges and
collections. Reports are broken down by provider, detail of service and
outstanding amounts. All reports are very detailed and can be customized
to the preferences of each client.
